Thanks to a great friend and former professional rugby player Toby Freeman for his time, knowledge and insights on his transition in life after sport. Toby is an English Rugby player who has recently made the transition from professional rugby to his new career of financial planning. Toby has had a great rugby career and has had many ups and downs. Playing for the Exeter Chiefs, Cornish Pirates, Rotherham Titans, Nottingham & the Harlequins.

We had an informal chat which we decided to record (embedded below) as it might help others in their journey beyond sport. We have tried to provide a bit of clarity on what brain-based coaching is, and discussed advice Toby might have given himself at different points in his personal journey. Hopefully anyone who watches the video gets at least one gold nugget and that it was worth your time. At the end I encourage you to simply ask yourself a better question, focus on what you want and take action. Everything will be ok. I have also written more about my own personal story and an article on when to retire from Rugby. You can find it here
